Purchasing a motorcycle may seem to be extremely easy for a person, but once this two wheeled vehicle is purchase, most riders are curious to know about its parts, where they can be bought from and what purpose each part serves. The reason is simple. The knowledge about motorcycle parts would offer them an opportunity to help themselves, when the vehicle breaks down and also offer them confidence in terms of replacing the motorcycle parts, in case of an emergency.

a) Fuel Tank: A fuel tank is a significant portion of the chassis. These are usually mounted on the engine. Fuel tanks are generally created with polyethylene of high quality. To prevent this almost all the motorcycles are now built with antilock breaking systems. 
d) Suspension: The major role of the suspension is to work as the shock absorber of the motorcycle. The function controlling the steering of the machine is successfully undertaken by the front suspension. The back of suspension is extremely helpful in serving as a support to the swing arm. 
e) Transmission: Clutch lever of the motorcycle controls transmission.
f) Tires: The most significant part of a motorcycle, a tire comes to the contact of the road fully.
g) Engine: Most of the motorcycles, available to the consumers, across the globe are gasoline-powered.
