Lets meet Fred. During the week Fred is a middle-aged financial consultant who has a loving family and a good job. He loves to spend his weekends on his motorcycle and likes to pretend he is a big bad Hell’s Angel.

Fred decided that, to save a few bucks since he only rides his bike once in a while, he would get very cheap bike insurance. Fred got his very cheap bike insurance through an agency that has a less that stellar reputation as a good insurance company. But Fred is happy and figures that he is smart for saving money with his very cheap bike insurance that allows him to stay on the road. For all of his smarts Fred is about to find out that very cheap bike insurance may be inexpensive but, as with anything else in this world, you get what you pay for. You would think an accountant would know that.

One weekend Fred lost control of his bike and was thrown from his bike as it slid out of control. Fred landed in the soft grass without any injury but he got to watch his bike slide right off the side off a cliff and crash onto the rocks below. After counting his lucky stars Fred contacted his very cheap bike insurance company to file a claim and get his bike replaced. The road conditions were less than favorable and the police report that was filed by the police about the accident indicated that Fred was a victim of poor traction and saw no fault with Fred. Fred was relieved and waited for his very cheap bike insurance company to send him a check so he could get back on the road.

Then Reality Set In

That was six months ago and Fred is still waiting for his very cheap bike insurance company to send him a check so he can get back to being a weekend king of the road. But the very cheap bike insurance company won’t send a check and they also won’t tell Fred why. Fred is the victim of his own decision. The very cheap bike insurance company is living up to their reputation and Fred is wishing he had spent a little more money on his bike insurance so he could have avoided this whole mess.

Well it has become a quit long story but the moral of it all should be clear by now, you always should be smart and not only think about the money, look online for the insurance company and look for reviews about them, you can also ask your friends, relatives and co workers. Try to find out as much as you can about the agency.
